About Beo Art Studio
Beo Art Studio is a Nigerian art studio creating custom paintings and drawings, portrait commissions, murals and live event artwork for individuals, families, businesses and organisations.
Founded by Nigerian visual artist Benjamin Odeke, the studio works across pencil, charcoal, oil, acrylic and large-scale wall painting, creating original artwork for people, homes, businesses, interior spaces and special occasions in Nigeria and internationally.

Who We Are
Beo Art Studio is an independent Nigerian art studio serving individuals, families, collectors, businesses, hospitality brands, schools, churches, organisations, interior projects and public-facing spaces.
Our work can begin with a photograph, a person, an empty wall, a room, an event, a memory or simply an idea. From there, we determine the appropriate medium, scale and artistic direction for the project.
A client may commission a pencil drawing, an oil portrait, an abstract or landscape painting for an interior, a mural across a commercial wall or an artwork created live during an event.
The studio is not built around one subject or one visual style. What connects the work is that each project is created intentionally for the person, purpose, space or occasion behind it.

Beo Art Studio works across four main areas: custom paintings and drawings, murals, live painting and selected creative projects. Each project is planned according to its purpose, medium, environment, scale, timeline and audience.
- Custom Paintings & Drawings Original pencil, charcoal, oil and acrylic artwork including portraits, abstract paintings, landscapes, figurative work, expressive pieces and custom artwork developed around a person, photograph, idea or interior.

Different projects require different visual decisions
The Artwork Determines the Approach
Beo Art Studio does not force every commission into one artistic style.
A realistic portrait, abstract painting, landscape, commercial mural and live event piece solve different creative problems. The subject, purpose, environment and client brief help determine the composition, medium, colour, finish and level of realism appropriate for the work.
Portraiture remains an important part of the studio’s practice. Within that area, one of our approaches is Story-Driven Soft Realism, which combines recognisable likeness with softer tonal transitions and careful attention to the subject’s presence and character.
“I do not see portraits as drawings alone. I study the person, the expression and the reason the artwork is being created. Accuracy matters, but I also want the finished piece to carry presence.”
Story-Driven Soft Realism describes part of our portrait practice. It does not define every artwork the studio creates. Abstract paintings, landscapes, murals, expressive work and experimental projects may require very different visual languages.
The wider principle is simple: the artistic approach should serve the artwork rather than forcing the artwork to serve a fixed style.

Commissioning custom artwork can feel uncertain when the price, process, timeline and expected result are unclear. Beo Art Studio works to make those practical parts of the experience easier to understand.
Understand the Project
We review the person, reference, idea, wall, space, size, medium, location and required date.
Confirm the Scope
The relevant price, timeline, deposit terms, deliverables and project expectations are established before work begins.
Create the Artwork
The project moves into production, with progress communication provided where appropriate.
Review the Result
Completed commissioned artwork can be shown for review before final presentation, installation or delivery where applicable.
Prepare and Document
The artwork is finished, photographed and documented according to the requirements of the selected project.
Deliver and Support
Collection, delivery, installation or artwork-care guidance is coordinated according to the commission.
The artwork remains the centre of the experience
Beyond the Handover
The physical artwork is the main product. Around qualifying commissioned and original pieces, the studio is also developing better ways to preserve important information about the work after delivery.
Depending on the artwork and selected service, this may include completed-work media, a signed Certificate of Authenticity, care guidance and a Digital Artwork Passport.
These systems are designed to support the artwork rather than distract from it. The goal is simply to treat commissioned and original art as something worth properly presenting, recording and preserving.

Selected moments from the creation and completion of an artwork can be preserved as a visual record of the project.
Certificate of Authenticity
A studio-issued document recording details such as the artwork title, artist, medium, dimensions, completion date and certificate number.
Digital Artwork Passport
A dedicated digital record preserving selected artwork details, story, completed media, care information and authenticity documentation.
Artwork Care and Support
Practical guidance for placement, handling, framing, maintenance, restoration and future inspection where relevant.
Practical systems built around art
Art and Technology
Beo Art Studio also develops digital tools where technology can make commissioning, planning, learning or documenting artwork easier.
These tools do not replace the artist or the physical artwork. They are designed to support visualisation, communication, education, documentation and access.
Mural Visualizer
Helps clients explore how different mural directions could look on a photograph of their actual wall or space.
Photo-to-Sketch
Creates sketch-style visual references from photographs for creative exploration and planning.
Beo Color Lab
Supports the study and exploration of colour, including hue, value, chroma and reference-image analysis.
Artwork Verification
Connects qualifying physical artworks with studio-issued documentation and their Digital Artwork Passport.
Selected artworks may also support optional interactive experiences such as Beo Living Art, where approved digital movement can be experienced in connection with a physical piece. The technology remains an extension of the artwork rather than a replacement for it.

Education and Access
The studio’s work extends beyond client commissions.
Through the Beo School of Art, creative workshops, educational content, art guides and practical tools, Beo helps beginners, young learners, parents and developing artists approach art with more structure and confidence.
The aim is not only to teach people how to reproduce an image. It is to help them understand observation, materials, colour, visual language, creative decisions and the technical vocabulary behind what they are making.
Education and technology support the wider Beo ecosystem, while the central work of Beo Art Studio remains the creation of physical artwork and creative projects for clients.
Built through real commissions and physical projects
Experience and Public Work
Beo Art Studio’s experience includes custom drawings and paintings, private portrait commissions, commercial murals, hospitality artwork, church artwork, live creative events, classes and other commissioned visual-art projects.
Completed mural and installation work includes projects for spaces such as Silhouette Fitness Centre, Doncont Hotel & Apartments and other client environments requiring planning, surface preparation, visual adaptation and delivery within practical site conditions.
The studio has also participated in exhibitions and creative gatherings, including FAME events and Bayelsa Creative Converge, allowing the work to be experienced by audiences beyond direct client commissions.
This combination of studio work, site-based projects and public participation continues to shape how Beo approaches artwork for both private and commercial clients.

About the Founder
Beo Art Studio was founded by Benjamin Odeke, professionally known as Beo Art, a Nigerian visual artist whose practice spans drawing, painting, portraiture, murals and contemporary visual experimentation.
Working across pencil, charcoal, oil, acrylic and large-scale wall painting, his commissioned practice includes portraits, figurative work, abstract and expressive paintings, landscapes and artwork created around specific people, environments and ideas.
Portraiture played an important role in the development of his practice and remains one of his recognised areas of work, but it does not define the full range of art he creates.
His personal artistic interests include people, memory, identity, culture, emotion and the ways visual art can preserve experiences or communicate ideas that are difficult to express in words.
Benjamin Odeke is the artist. Beo Art Studio is the studio through which commissioned artwork, murals, live painting and other client projects are delivered.

Our Vision
Beo Art Studio’s vision is to build a respected African art studio known for original artwork, strong creative execution and a professional commissioning experience.
That begins with the physical work itself: paintings, drawings, portraits, murals and live art created with intention for people, businesses, organisations and spaces.
Around that core practice, the studio is also developing education, documentation, creative tools and technology that can improve how people commission, understand, learn about, experience and preserve art.
The aim is not simply to offer more services. It is to build an art ecosystem in which the artist, artwork, client experience, education and supporting technology strengthen one another without losing sight of the physical creative work at the centre.

Not every client needs every part of this system.
Someone commissioning a portrait may care most about likeness, medium, framing and delivery. A business commissioning a mural may care about wall preparation, scale, site conditions and durability. A client ordering an abstract painting may care more about colour, composition and how the artwork sits within an interior. A wedding client may want the painting process itself to become part of the event.
The studio adapts around those different needs while keeping the central purpose clear: creating original artwork that makes sense for the person, organisation, space or occasion receiving it.
